AND one for NEAL and one for ME too!
After making the deer stockings on the embroidery, it
got me thinking that I could remove the deer in Perla and
add a robot for Neal and Me
Something to put a little gift in
I am really keeping myself busy of late. So many things to
learn as well which has really been keeping my head busy as
The week before Christmas I was talking on line to Helene
and she was showing me the Christmas stockings she had
been making on her "BIG" embroidery machine and she
was telling me on my machine they would make cute size
stocking so I went to the
and brought the pattern.
I chose the one that had a deer on it
I was able to use Perla premium to add the names .
and here is what i made for my friends
sed the wrong stabilizer on the middle one

SCARY start to the week
I love living in my new part of Australia , but
things get scary when we spend 9 hours looking at this out our
front door (and worst just after this photo when the fire reached
a old wreaking car yard). Scary, but it was great that all the
firefighters did a fantastic job of getting the fire undercontrol
and we could get a sleep last night . The bush fire burnt out
170 hectors and this morning they are just cleaning up and
making sure all is staying safe.
THANK YOU TO ALL THE FIREFIGHTERS

It's not like me
Wow there is now less than a week to
go till Christmas and I have only just
finished and posted my Christmas cards .
Every year I am getting them ready at the
last week of November and thinking that
I am leaving that late BUT this year I thinkI did
leave them VERY VERY late.
Will show you a photo soon when most people
start receiving them .
(even Neal helped me with all the envelopes as
he too wanted to get them to the post office
by yesterday )

Get Well Soon
The group I belong too over here also go
all around the state to "Open day events"
and we get to know spinners and weavers
from all other groups .
One of the guys from the Ulverstone spinning and
weaving group, we found out was not feeling the
best and I was asked to make him a card.
I had to think what would i put on the card , then
I got photos from Jaddy of our Open day at our club
and there was a photo in there of Dean, and he was
in his kilt so then i thought OH OH this would
make him laugh . So this is the card that I came up
Some embroidered presents
As well as the webinars and weaving and Spinning
I have been still learning the designing part of the
embroidery machine and also making presents for people and
Having seen a store brought bag that one of the ladies at
spinning had that had been altered, Jaddy said how great it
was and would love something like that .
So that got me thinking that I had wanted to try digitizing a
sheep and this would be a great reason . So out came my
program and books and dvds and I set to learning more .
this is the bag I made Jaddy (with her name on it too)
Made these for Louise that is teaching us to
weave (she loves butterflies and the colour pink)
Then we just had out christmas lunch for the
spinning group i go to and this is the Kris Kringle (secret santa)
with a necklace to go with it that i made
And a hand towel
A sweet little set
Then as a extra secret santa for a very special lady
(This one I made the bag as well the other was a store
brought bag that i added the pocket onto )
So as you can see I have been keeping busy .
What and Where have I been up too?
It has been a big busy year for me this year .
And I have had people emailing me or messaging me
to ask me if i am OK as my blog has been neglected .
I am fine and good. I have taken the last year to
learn new things (craft wise) and to see lots more
of the new state I live in (Tasmania) .
Still been doing the Make the cut Webinars
(you will find these lessons in this past years
And a frame in box too
I have also been learning to weave on shaft loom this year which
has been soo much fun and continuing to spin yarn on the
spinning wheel .

I am also a WEAVER now
I have been learning lots of new things since
moving from Victoria to Tasmania (Australia).
Thinking my life was going to be quiet here HEHEHEHE.
With 12 months ago I brought myself my first spinning wheel
and joining group here to learn how to use it . And from this I
have also been having Weaving lessons to learn the art of
Our lessons are with one of our group
Louise she is a wonderful teacher and there for any help we
need. Here is my first lesson with the 4 shaft loom
(borrowed a loom for this one ) It was learning the basic twill
Also with the borrowed loom I did my second lesson
which has 80 different patterns on the one sampler
Now I am sooo hooked on weaving I now have
a 4 shaft loom of my own working on my next lesson
Here is my newest toy in the house .
This one is a big project and still working on it .
Now as a note I am still doing other crafts including
paper crafts , sewing ,ect.... It is just soo much fun to
learn more things.
